The Rangers are now 49-63 on the season. They are going through one of their worst slumps of the season. They have lost seven of their last ten games and two in a row. 

The Mariners are playing great baseball right now. They have won three games in a row and seven of their last ten to move to 62-52 on the season and holding the first Wild Card spot. 

This is a great pitchers duel as Logan Gilbert will be facing off against Martin Perez. Gilbert has a 3.47 ERA and Martin Perez has a 2.85 ERA on the season. They have a combined 19-8 record on the season. This line is already moving in the Rangers direction and I am going to jump on it while there is still value. I think Perez and Gilbert will both pitch well but Perez is a tier above for me. I think the Rangers win this game or keep it close.
