The Angels have are in third place in the AL West. They have had a solid season as they are 38-31 and are just 4.5 games back of the first place Rangers in their division. They are playing great baseball right now having gone 8-2 over their last ten.
The Rangers are also having a very good season. They are in first place in the NL West and are 41-25 on the season. They are just 5-5 in their last ten games though. And they just lost Jacob DeGrom for the season to Tommy John surgery.
I like the under in this one. We have a great pitching matchup in this game between Shohei Ohtani and Nathan Evoaldi. These guys have a combined record of 14-4 on the season. Ohtani has a 3.32 ERA record on the season and Eovaldi has been even better with a 2.49 ERA. These two should absolutely cruise through these lineups and this should be a low scoring affair.
