AL East rivals better

The Rays have clinched the playoffs but need a miracle to win this division. They have had a great season sitting 2nd in the division with a 95-62 record on the year. With only 4 games left and a 2.5 game deficit to the Orioles their chance at the division seems to be over. They’ve split their last 10 and look to go into the playoffs with some momentum.

The Red Sox had a decent season but failed to qualify for the postseason. They sit in last of the stacked AL East with a 76-80 record. Only winning 2 of their last 10, this team has moved on and is looking towards next season. They should try and give their home fans one last moral victory in this series.

Take the Rays in this game. The Red Sox have nothing to play for but pride and have been in terrible form as of late. I give the Rays a slight pitching advantage but they should take this one regardless. Glasnow has been good for Tampa this year with a 3.68 ERA and 9-7 record.
