AL East rivals battle

The Blue Jays are doing well this year but suffer from a stacked division. They sit 3rd in the division with a 60-50 record. They have split their last 10 but will be trying to stay on the tails of Tampa and Baltimore. They want to take some games against Boston to keep them from being overtaken.

The Red Sox are having a decent season but also suffer by being in this division. They have a 57-51 record and sit down in 4th with only the Yankees behind. Winning 6 of their last 10 taking this series would be a big win to climb up these AL East standings.

I like the Blue Jays in this game. They are pitching Jose Berrios who has been great in a bounceback season. Berrios is 8-7 and has a 3.31 ERA on the season. He is facing Nick Pivetta who is 7-6 but his ERA is sitting above four on the season. The Blue Jays should be able to take care of the Red Sox here behind Berrios’ arm.
