AL East opposites battle

The Yankees aren’t having the season they hoped for, they have a decent record but suffer from an amazing division. They sit last in the AL East with a 53-48 record. They haven’t been great recently winning only 4 of their last 10. This would be a massive series to gain some momentum for the rest of the season.

The Orioles are having their best season in recent memory. They have the best record in all of the American League sitting 62-39 on the season. They were on a tear after the break but have slowed down winning 6 of their last 10. 

Take the Yankees in this game. Although the Orioles have been rolling Cole has been stellar this year. With a 2.78 ERA and a 9-2 record he gives the Yankees a great chance to beat anybody. On the other side Rodriguez hasn’t been good with a 6.91 ERA and a 2-2 record. Cole should dominate this pitching matchup and get the Yanks a vital win.
