The Guardians are very mediocre this year but benefit from a terrible division. They sit 2nd in the AL Central with a 51-51 record only two games behind the division lead. They’ve won 6 of their last 10 and would like to continue closing that gap with the Twins.

The White Sox are having a terrible season this year based on their expectations. They sit down in 4th in the AL Central with a 41-61 record. Their losing doesnt seem to be stopping anytime soon as they’ve only won 3 of their last 10. Beating their division rival will be tough in this current form.
