Aaron Judge Remains Out, But Yankees Win Three-Straight
The New York Yankees are 53-47, putting them in 4th in the AL East and 7th in the American League. The Yankees are coming off a much needed 3-0 sweep of the Kansas City Royals. New York is 4-6 in their last 10 games, and are 8-11 this month, averaging 4.2 runs per game. The reigning AL MVP, Aaron Judge, will not be on the field against the Mets, and the Yankees are 23-28 without him, but they win 57.4% of the home games, and are expected to win on Wednesday.
The Mets are struggling this season, which is a shame because they were so close to turning things around last season. The NY Mets are 46-53, going 4-6 in their last 10 games, and are coming off back-to-back losses to the Boston Red Sox. The Mets now take on their neighborhood rivals, the NY Yankees, who they are 61-79 against all-time, and 1-1 against this season.
I like the Yankees in this one. The Mets are struggling at the plate in the second-half of the season, averaging just 3.5 runs, while the Yankees are averaging 4.4 runs. The Mets win just 42.5% of their away games, and the Yankees have been convincing at home.
So for our Mets vs. Yankees expert pick, go with the Yankees Moneyline for Wednesday.
