Astros host Yankees in Houston

The Yankees are coming off of a stressful five game series against the Guardians. They had to win the last two games of the series and they did. They now face a Houston team that has cruised throughout this entire season.

This Houston team just keeps chugging along. They swept the division rival Mariners in three close games and have now made their sixth straight ALCS. They will be well rested for this series and have the hottest hitter in baseball right now in Yordan Alvarez.

I think the Astros take this game. They just have such a big pitching advantage in this one. The Yankees have Luis Severino on the mound while the Astros have the consistent Framber Valdez. Valdez was great this season with a 17-6 record and a 2.82 ERA while Severino was 7-3 with a 3.18 ERA. I like Valdez here, especially at home in front of his home crowd while Severino is on the road.
