Tonight the Yankees will travel to take on the Mariners in Seattle. They will seek revenge for their last series against the Mariners just one week ago where they dropped 2 of the 3 games. The pitching matchup will be one to watch as it will be between Jameson Taillon of New York and Logan Gilbert of Seattle. Tailor has a record of 10-2 with an ERA of 3.96. Although he hasn’t been the best pitcher for the Yanks this year, he definitely has been one of their top win getters. Logan Gilbert is in the same boat for Seattle, but has a better ERA than his counterpart. Ginert has a record of 10-4 and an ERA of 3.09. 

 

The Yanks really need a win tonight, as this is the only time seemingly all season that they’ve looked human. They’re on a five game losing streak after having one their previous five before that. It’s been surprisingly the Yankees lack of runs scored that has been hurting them in this losing streak. They have only scored more than 4 runs once in the last 5 games.
