Big matchup in San Diego

The Dodgers have gotten off to a good not great start to the season. They are 19-13 and are the first team in the NL West. They don’t have much of a cushion though as they have a two or less game lead on two of the teams. 

The Padres are one of these teams as they sit at 17-15 on the season. They got Fernando Tatis Jr back and have been playing better baseball as of late having won seven of their last ten games. 

I like the Dodgers in this one. I know the Padres have been relatively hot but the Padres are starting the worse pitcher here. Blake Snell has been atrocious this season going 1-4 with a 5.28 ERA. He faces Dustin May who has been much better with a 3-1 record and 3.15 ERA. I think there is a ton of value taking the Dodgers as underdogs here. They are probably the better team overall anyways. This will be a close game that the Dodgers pull out.
