Which first year coach will win their first game?
Duke had a horrible season last year as they went 3-9 last season. They ended the season with eight straight losses. They lost these final eight games by a ridiculous average of 31.75. Duke is looking to have his first winning season since 2018.
Temple was last in the American Athletic Conference last year. They were just as bad as Duke was they went 3-9 on the season and lost the last seven games of their season.
Temple averaged a grand total of 8.4 points per game over their losing streak. Duke averaged 14.8 points per game over their losing streak. I have no clue why this total is so high. These teams are so bad offensively that there is no way they will reach this number. They averaged together a total of 23.2 points per game over their losing streaks last season.
