Washington Huskies Hit The Road
After a 2-0 start to the season, the No. 8 Washington Huskies play their first away game of the season when they face the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing. Saturday marks the 5th all-time meeting between Washington and Michigan State, with the most recent being last season when Washington beat Michigan State 39-28 in Seattle. The Huskies lead the series 3-1, and the Spartans only win happened way back on September, 20th, 1969.
Washington is heavily favored over Michigan State, so with the Huskies fully expected to win the game, the question then becomes: by how much? The point spread is -16.5 in favor of Washington, and based on the Huskies first two games, it’s safe to assume they’ll cover the spread. Washington is averaging 49.5 points per game with a 35 point average margin of victory. Sure, Michigan State is the best opponent the Huskies have faced so far, but the Spartans are not known for their football prowess, and they’ll struggle to keep up with Washington’s fast-paced offensive attack.
So for our (8)Washington vs. Michigan State expert pick, take (8)Washington to Cover the 16.5 point Spread (-110) on Saturday.
