Utes look to get off to fast start in the swamp
Utah is trying to do the opposite of what they did last year in terms of how they started. Last season they started the season 1-2 before winning 10 straight games en route to a Rose Bowl appearance. They then were in what was probably the best bowl game of the year in a back and forth game with Ohio State that they barely lost 48-45.
Florida is entering a new era under new head coach Billy Napier. They are hoping that projected top ten pick Anthony Richardson is the real deal and he can lead them to a great season. They are hoping that their home fans give them a big enough boost to start the Napier era off correctly.
The Gators actually opened up as one point favorites in this game. They are now three point underdogs. I think this is warranted. The Utes were extremely impressive last season. They finished that season with the close loss to Ohio State right after beating a ranked Oregon team twice by a combined 76-17.
