Utah has had a great start to the season even without star quarterback Cam Rising. They have started out 4-0 with wins over Florida and UCLA. This team is carried by one of the best defenses in the country and they look to have another dominant showing. This defense is giving up only 9.5 points per game good for 6th in nation behind an elite rushing defense and solid passing defense. On the other side the offense has not been elite without their star quarterback. They are ranked 100th in points scored and outside the top 100 in their passing and rushing statistics. With mediocre quarterback play making this team struggle they need Rising back.

Oregon State has had a solid start to the season behind Clemson QB transfer DJ Uiagalelei. They started the season 3-0 but lost a thriller to Washington State 38-35 last week. Oregon State offense has looked great ranking top 25 in most metrics with an elite top 10 rushing attack. On the defensive side they haven’t been as dominant as last year but still have a solid squad being top 50 in most metrics.

Take Oregon St. in this game. Utah will meet their match in this one. The defense is stellar and will be able to slow down the Beavers but I just don’t see how this offense can put up enough points to put away Oregon State. This offense has not put up more than 24 points against their power 5 opponents.
