Undefeated Jayhawks Take On Texas

The 2023 Kansas Jayhawks are the best team they’ve had in years. With a 4-0 record, Kansas is the No. 24 team in the country, a vast improvement from 2020 when the Jayhawks didn’t win a single game. The Jayhawks are averaging 37.75 points for and 22.75 points against. Kansas is rolling, but they have yet to face a top-25 opponent, and on Saturday they face the No. 3 team in the nation. 

The Texas Longhorns showed their mettle when they fought back against the Tide, beating Alabama 34-24 in their second game of the season. Texas earned the No. 3 spot after that game, and now faces their second top-25 opponent of the season in the Kansas Jayhawks. The Longhorns are averaging 35.0 points for and 12.5 points against through 4 games, and while the Jayhawks are a much improved program, Texas remains the top dog in the Big 12.
