Unbeaten Washington Huskies Lead The Pac-12
The USC Trojans will host the conference’s best team this Saturday, the Washington Huskies. The Huskies are undefeated at 8-0 and enter this weekend’s contest as the No. 5 team in the nation. USC is 7-2 and rank No. 24 in the FBS. The Trojans began the season as the top dogs in the PAC-12, but after getting demolished by Notre Dame 48-20, followed by a 34-32 loss against Utah, USC has fallen on hard times. They narrowly beat unranked Arizona in overtime (43-41), and last week the Trojans barely escaped with a win against the 3-5 Cal Bears, winning the game by just 1 point (50-49).
USC may have the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams, as their quarterback, but I’m going with the Washington Huskies in this one. The Trojans defense has been awful this season, averaging 32.6 points against, and giving up over 40 points in 4 of their last 5 matchups. The Huskies on the other hand, have one of the best offensive schemes in the nation, averaging over 40 points per game. Washington’s QB Michael Penix Jr. is the leader of that offense, and is the top candidate for the Heisman this year. Penix and his Washington Huskies will absolutely tear apart USC’s porous defense, and secure their 16th consecutive victory.
So for our (5)Washington vs. (24)USC expert pick, take Washington Huskies Moneyline (-155) on Saturday.
