Two struggling squads look for a win

LA Tech has not started the season well going 2-3 and come into this game on a 2 game losing streak. The offense has been solid averaging 27.6 points per game rushing for over 150 and passing for over 235 a game. The weakness of this team is the defense giving up over 28 points a game on the season. They need to show up against the run this week if they want to win.

UTEP has had a terrible start to the season going 1-4 to start this year. With their only win over Incarnate Word this team has not impressed. The offense is not playing well only averaging  around 17 points a game and on the other side of the ball the defense is almost as bad giving up 29 points per game. This team needs to step up all around if they want to snap their 3 game losing streak. 

Take LA Tech in this game. I don’t understand how the Miners are favored in this one; they have shown nothing promising this year. The UTEP offense is one of the worst in the country and I don’t see them putting up points. The Bulldogs have shown the ability to score averaging more than 25 points per game.
