Tigers look to continue building after first loss

LSU took a beating in primetime in week one as they lost to the Seminoles in a top ten matchup by 21 points. They rebounded nicely 72-10 in a “get right” game against Grambling State. They now face their first SEC opponent of the season. 

Mississippi State has had a good start to the season. They had an easy game one beating SE LA 48-7 but then put up a good win against a decent opponent in week two as they beat Arizona 31-24. They now face their first real test here. 

I like the Tigers to beat Mississippi State by a significant amount here on the road. Mississippi State hasn’t played great opponents to start the season and that FSU loss really isn’t that bad considering that FSU is the third ranked team in college football. The Tigers are just levels above Mississippi State and should win this game by double digits.
