Syracuse has been quite a pleasant surprise this season. They killed UCONN last week in a win that many expected. But their week one performance against Louisville was very impressive. They beat the Cardinals 31-7. They now host a decent Purdue team.

The Boilermakers haven’t gotten off to as great a start as Syracuse. They killed Indiana St last week 56-0. In week one, they played a close hard fought game against 22 ranked Penn State. Ultimately they lost at the end of the game 35-31.

I like Syracuse in this game. They have already shown that they thrive when they are at home in that game against Louisville. Syracuse has really been driven by the play of QB Garrett Shrader who has completed 79.2 percent of his passes while throwing five touchdowns and no interceptions. I think Syracuse and Shrader’s impressive play continues here.
