Coastal Carolina has not had the start they have hoped for with a 2-3 record. They are 3-2 against the spread. Currently on a 2 game losing streak Coastal Carolina is looking for their first conference win of the year. The offense has not been the problem this year; they are scoring over 28 points a game. The defense has not looked great allowing over 30 points in both of their conference matchups. The passing defense is mediocre but the rushing defense looks like one of the worst in the country ranked 118th. This team does not have a pass rush only having 6 sacks on the season. 

App State has had a decent start to the season with a 3-2 record. Both their losses have been by one possession this team could have an even better record. The App state offense has been pretty solid mainly relying on their rushing attack. Noel has reached 100 yards in every single contest thai year and looks like the best running back in the conference. The offense has scored at least 34 in 4 of their 5 games. The defense has not been good, ranking outside the top 100 in the country and have allowed at least 28 in 3 of their last 4 matchup.
