Sixth ranked Aggies host Bearkats
The Aggies come into this year with high hopes. They finished last season 8-4. That included a stunning win over then Number one ranked Alabama. They are coming off of back-to-back great recruiting season as they were number 9 in 2021 and first in 2022.
The Bearkats are coming into this year as a top ten FCS team. They went 11-1 last season and lost in the FCS quarterfinals to Montana State. This ended a 22 game winning streak.
Texas A&M is favored here for good reason. They had the number one recruiting class this year as NIL deals really showed how much they meant to recruits. This will not be a competitive game. Texas A&M should use this game as a springboard for the rest of the year as they have national title aspirations. I think Texas A&M’s consecutive top ten recruiting classes shows their worth here.
