SEC vs. ACC as Ole Miss Hosts Georgia Tech

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets look to sting the Ole Miss Rebels with an upset on Saturday. Unfortunately for Tech, the odds are heavily against them. With a -1000 point moneyline, the Ole Miss Rebels should remain undefeated after Saturday. Ole Miss came out hot with a 73-7 opening game win, and are averaging 55.0 points per game on their way to a 2-0 record. Georgia Tech has shown their mettle on offense, averaging 41.0 points per game, but the Yellow Jackets have yet to face a ranked opponent, and gave up 39 points to Louisville in their season opening loss. 

Georgia Tech is 2-3 against Ole Miss, but the Rebels have won the last three meetings, including a 42-0 shutout win over the Yellow Jackets last season in Atlanta. Ole Miss is clearly the better team, and with veteran head coach Lane Kiffin back for his 4th season with the Rebels, Georgia Tech is in for a whooping. Ole Miss is certainly not on upset alert, and this one could get ugly quick, especially if Georgia Tech, who averages 2 turnovers per game, doesn’t take care of the ball.
