NFL WEEK 15 SPECIAL BETTING PROPS- SAQUON BARKLEY
The New York Giants appear to be destined for another losing season at 5-8 heading into Week 15. They will be at home this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans as slight 2.5-point favorites before finishing up the year on the road against Indianapolis and at home against Dallas as likely underdogs.
Despite the disappointing record in the current standings, the brightest spot in this season’s performance has been the stellar play of rookie running back Saquon Barley, who was the team’s first round pick in this year’s draft. He is well on his way to winning NFL Rookie of the Year honors as the third-leading rusher in the league, while also racking up some impressive numbers catching the ball.
As an added betting bonus for his performance over the next three games, BetAnySports has released some special props based on his final numbers for the year.
Saquon Barkley Total Rushing Yards
Through last week’s win at Washington, Barkley has rushed for 1,124 yards on 209 rushing attempts. The betting odds for his total rushing yards this season favor the OVER on 1290.5 at -175. The odds his total rushing yards come in UNDER that total are set at +135.
Barkley is averaging 86.5 rushing yards a game, but he has gained at least 100 yards in each of his last four starts. He only needs to gain a total of 167 yards over his last three starts to eclipse the 1,290.5 total. This puts all the value in this prop betting the OVER despite the added risk of the -175 betting odds.
Saquon Barkley Total Receiving Yards
While Barkley has done the bulk of his damage running the ball, he has also caught 78 passes on 96 targets for a total of 629 receiving yards. The OVER/UNDER for his total receiving yards this season is set at 720.5. BetAnySports’ betting odds favor the OVER at -150 with the moneyline odds on the UNDER set at +110.
Given that he is averaging 48.4 receiving yards per game and he only needs 92 total yards over his next three games to surpass the 720.5-yard total, I am also going with the OVER in this prop at the added -150 risk.
