Mountaineers visit Hokies in Blacksburg

This season has not started out to well for the Mountaineers. They are finally coming off of a 65-7 win over Towson last week but in week one they dropped a close one 38-31 to Pittsburgh and in week two they lost 55-42 to Kansas while at home. 

The Hokies are 2-1 on the season. They dropped their first game of the season in embarrassing fashion as they lost 20-17 to an Old Dominion team that should not have been in that game. They did rebound though with back to back convincing wins over Boston College and Wofford.

I like the Hokies here. West Virginia was favored by more than 10 points in that Kansas game and somehow found a way to lose. Their defense gave up 55 points to Kansas. They now have to go into a hostile environment in Blacksburg and cover as favorites. I just don’t see it happening, especially with the confidence and rhythm this VT team has built offensively over the last two games. 

So for our West Virginia vs. Virginia Tech expert play take the Hokies +1.5
