Monarchs getting a touchdown at home versus Hokies
The Monarchs were 1-5 to start last season but then went on a run as they won five of six games. They earned a berth in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. This will be their first season in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Hokies went 6-7 last season. They were third in the ACC Coastal. They went 4-4 in the conference. They were absolutely embarrassed in the Pinstripe Bowl as they got blown out 54-10 to Maryland.
I love Virginia Tech here. I think the Monarchs are being overvalued in this one. They are still in the Sun Belt Conference while the Hokies face ACC opponents every year. Look for the Hokies to go into Old Dominion and beat the Monarchs by more than a touchdown. I think the experience of the Hokies will come in handy here.
