Virginia and Maryland clash

Virginia has not started the season well with two losses and a heartbreaking 36-35 loss to in-state James Madison. Virginia is looking to bounce back after getting starting quarterback Tony Muskett back from injury. This border state rivalry is being renewed for the first time in a decade. The offense should be able to put up points but I don’t know if they can stop Tagovailoa and the Maryland offense.

Maryland enters this game on a 4 game winning streak from last year and looks to continue in their first real test this season. Tagovailoa has been great this year and looks to light up this shaky Cavaliers defense. They also have had great success running the ball behind a solid o-line. I expect Maryland to run away with this one.

Take Maryland in this game. I don’t see a way for Virgina to slow down this offense. Virginia hasn’t looked good all season and the Terps have looked great. Even with their starting quarterback in week 1 the Cavaliers didn’t show much promise. I expect Maryland to make a statement against their old ACC rival.
