JMU looks to stay undefeated on the road.

James Madison has had an exceptional start to the season starting 6-0 and are one of the few undefeated teams left standing. This team has won 9 in a row and will be looking for revenge after losing to the Thundering Herd last year. The Dukes offense has looked great this year and currently rank top 25 in scoring. JMU favors the running game which could cause major problems for Marshal whos struggle against the ground game. On the defensive side of the ball the Duke’s have also been exceptional with the number 1 rushing defense in the country. The passing defense has been very bad but needs to hold strong if JMU looks to stay undefeated. 

Marshall comes into this game with a solid 4-2 record and look to repeat their feat of defeating JMU last year. They have looked solid so far picking up a power 5 win against VT but losing a close one to NC State and dropping a game to Georgia State. The key to this one is the passing attack for Marshall. JMU has struggled heavily against the pass allowing 343 yards per game. Fancher needs a big game if they want to topple the undefeated Dukes.

Take Marshall in this game. This will be a close one all game. JMU will run all over Marshall’s abysmal rushing defense. On the other side Marshall will do whatever they want against JMU passing defense. This game will be back and forth.
