Now let’s get to our West Michigan vs Michigan State prediction.
No. 15?
The Michigan State Spartans will begin this season as the number 15 overall college, according to the preseason AP Poll. This is an organization that has had plenty of hype in previous seasons and year after year had managed to underperform. That was up until last season, when they entered the year with virtually no expectations and answered that by going 11-2 and capping off their stellar season by beating their archrival Michigan, and winning a New Year’s six bowl game against Pittsburgh in the Peach Bowl. This year they will have much higher expectations, and the question will be whether or not they will be able to handle them. One big hurdle they will have to overcome will be the loss of Kenneth Walker II, as he is now a Seattle Seahawk. He was huge for them last season as he won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s top running back. Nonetheless, I expect Michigan State to rise to the occasion and build off the momentum from last season, especially against this poor West Michigan squad. They did finish 8-5 last year, but I don’t see a repeat year, as they lost Sky Moore to the draft, and no longer have Kaleb Eleby who was a standout QB for them last year.
For our expert W Michigan versus Michigan State parlay prediction, take the over of the point total and the Spartans spread.
