Huge matchup to kickoff CFB season
The Buckeyes come into this season ranked number two in the country. This Buckeyes team ended last season with a win over the 45-42 win over the Utah Utes in the Rose Bowl. This wasn’t where they wanted to finish though as they will always have championship aspirations. They will face a Notre Dame team that is 5th in the nation behind C.J. Stroud’s arm.
Notre Dame is coming into this season ranked as the nations fifth best team despite having a brand new head coach. He was hired from within though as Marcus Freeman was the defensive coordinator before being brought up to head coach.
Wow. This is a huge line for a game between two teams starting the season ranked in the top five. This line is really an indication of how good Ohio State is said to be rather than a knock on Notre Dame. This line opened at 13 and has moved to 17. I am going to stay away from that though as I like the over much better. This line has moved up a point despite the public hammering the under. C.J. Stroud is going to come out here and start his Heisman campaign off with a bang and this will be a shootout.
