How will the Knights adjust to power 5?

The Knights made their move into the Big 12 and are now a power 5 program. UCF offense this year is already at the power 5 level and should hit the ground running. They will be dependent on the run game as their passing was lackluster last year and are returning their quarterback. The offense will be good enough to win difficult games in this new and improved schedule. The defense will be the biggest question mark on the season and will be the key to UCF winning a good amount of games. They do have a solid pass rush that will already be one of the better units in the Big 12. The back 7 has a lot of question marks and it will be difficult for rookie defensive coordinator Addison WIlliams to make this unit solid. The Knights were one of the best group of 5 teams in the last decade and have consistently beaten power 5 teams now they have a schedule full of them. Even with tough games like Oklahoma, OkSt, and Texas Tech I expect UCF to thrive in the Big 12. So for our UCF Football Win Total pick take the over 6.5 wins.
