Florida State visits LSU in big matchup to kick off season
FSU is coming off of a nice 47-7 win over an FCS opponent in Duquesne. All three of their running backs scored in the game. They are hopping this win catapults them to a good season. A win over LSU here may catapult them into the top 25.
For LSU, this is their first game under Brian Kelly. They have yet to name a starter publicly although they have reportedly told the team who is going to start. They went 6-7 last season and fired Ed Orgeron but then signed Brian Kelly and pulled him away from Notre Dame.
I like FSU here. The Seminoles have an advantage in that last week they had a nice tune up game against Duquesne. They have a very strong running game as they have a three headed monster at the RB position and have a successful running QB in Jordan Travis. We don’t really know what we are getting with this LSU offense.
