College Gameday’s Upcoming Matchup is a Big One
The Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks will face off this weekend in a highly anticipated PAC-12 matchup. It will be featured on ESPN’s College Gameday and is a must-watch game for all college football fans. Both the Huskies and the Ducks are 5-0, making Washington and Oregon the No. 7 and No. 8 ranked teams in the country.
It’s an important matchup because neither Washington nor Oregon have a “signature” win this season against a top ranked opponent. Whoever gets the win will see a major boost in their FBS ranking, and could even break the top-5. Moreover, this Ducks vs. Huskies matchup has massive Heisman Trophy implications. Oregon QB Bo Nix, along with Washington QB Michael Penix Jr., are top candidates to win the Heismen, with Penix Jr. leading the pack at +200 and Nix in 3rd at +600.
There’s a lot to love about this matchup, and it should be a thrilling college football classic, but I like the Oregon Ducks here. In a side-by-side comparison, Oregon scores more points per game (51.6) than Washington (46), and allows fewer points per game (11.8) than the Huskies (18.4). Oregon’s defense has been better than expected, and while the Oregon offense has been explosive with Bo Nix at the helm, the Ducks defense will win them the day.
So for our (8)Oregon vs. (7)Washington expert pick, take the Oregon Ducks Moneyline (+120) on Saturday. This means you can bet $100 to profit $120, for a total payout of $220, if Oregon wins.
