The Virginia Cavaliers host the Old Dominion Monarchs and this will be the second time these two ever play on the football field. The last time they played was in 2019 when the Cavaliers won by a final score of 28-17.

The Monarchs are currently 1-1 on the season. Last week against the East Carolina Pirates, they lost by a final score of 39-21 and absolutely dominated. They struggled in that game at protecting the ball as they lost a fumble and threw an interception. However, quarterback Hayden Wolff was able to score 3 touchdowns.

The Cavaliers are also 1-1 on the season. They lost last week against the Illinois Fighting Illini by a final score of 24-3. It was an ugly game as both teams combined for 7 total turnovers. The Cavaliers had 3 and 2 of them were interceptions.

This game will be low scoring as both of these teams are not on offense and Virginia seems to have a solid defense. Virginia should bounce back from their terrible performance as they are home and are expected to be a better team.
