Big matchup of two ranked teams in Pittsburgh
Pitt was in what was one of the most exciting games in week one as they beat West Virginia 38-31 in a game that came down to the wire. They are now at home and get to host the Volunteers. They aren’t getting much respect as they are ranked 17th in the country but are six point underdogs at home.
The Volunteers are coming off of a nice 59-10 tune-up win over Ball State. This is the first time Tennessee has been ranked under Josh Huepel and they are hoping they can stay in the rankings with a win against the Panthers in Pittsburgh.
The Panthers have yet to lose to Tennessee as they are 3-0 all time. This includes a 41-34 win in Tennessee. This really makes you think about this line. The Panthers are now at home as the higher ranked team and are touchdown underdogs. I think this screams trap. I think this game is really going to show how much stronger the SEC is than other conferences. Tennessee will win here by a touchdown or more and their expectations for the season will really blow up.
