Arizona Wildcats Break Into FBS Top-25

The Arizona Wildcats will face the Colorado Buffaloes in a highly anticipated PAC-12 matchup. The Wildcats are 6-3 and are the No. 21 team in college football. The Buffaloes on the other hand, are 4-5 and enter the contest unranked after suffering their 3rd-straight loss last weekend. 

Colorado was once the most talked about team in the nation, but after their blistering 3-0 start, the Buffaloes have gone 1-5. Colorado’s defense is atrocious, giving up 33.9 points and nearly 470 yards per game to their opponents. However, on Saturday the Buffaloes face a defense that’s almost as bad as they are. 

The Arizona Wildcats have won 3-straight, averaging 30.8 points per game this year, but their defense has struggled. The Wildcats are allowing 36.5 points and 467.7 yards per game to their opponents, and while they’ve improved as the season’s progressed, Arizona still has one of the worst defenses in the conference. 

I’m going with the Over. Needless to say, this matchup between Colorado and Arizona is going to be a high scoring shootout. The Wildcats and Buffaloes are nearly identical when it comes to offensive production, and both defenses are terrible. It’s the perfect combination for a high scoring barn burner.
