Both of these teams suffered bitter disappointments last week. While Arizona lost that game to Washington in the extra session, UCLA was trying to snap is eight game losing streak to Stanford. They got close, but a late turnover put the game out of reach, as the Cardinal won 22-13. Part of the reason that UCLA went down to defeat was their inability to rush the football. That certainly is going to make them one-dimensional for the better defenses. Not that Arizona has one, so it is quite possible that Josh Rosen can have a field day. He’s thrown five touchdown passes but has been picked off four times this season. And the word is that when he starts making mistakes, there is a carryover effect. He’ll mature in time, and a lot of NFL scouts are hoping for it, because he’s got a cannon for an arm.
