Alabama A&M vs UAB 

This season will start a new era at UAB, as they are coming off posting five straight winning seasons since they restarted their program back in the 2017 season. This UAB team has been picked to finish second in the Conference USA Preseason media poll. Alabama A&M, on the other hand, is coming off just a 6-5 season, although they have been able to post a winning record in all four years that they have been under coach Connell Maynor. According to ESPN metrics, UAB has a 99.4% chance of winning tonight’s game. These two teams have met up twice in the last eight years, and UAB has won both those games. But one glaring issue for UAB will be that Bill Clark, the man who had been their head coach for the last six seasons and led them to two league titles and three divisional titles, stepped down due to chronic back issues over the summer. They’re new and current interim head coach will be Bryant Vincent, who is familiar with this team, however, as he has been the offensive coordinator since 2018. The line is making it seem as though Alabama A&M is a horrible program, which they definitely are not as they have had winning seasons for the last five years. Expect UAB to get the win, but not by this massive margin.
