San Diego State has had a miraculous run in the tournament and are looking to finish their run in this game. The Aztecs got here off of a crazy game-winning shot by Lamont Butler to bring down the FAU Owls 72-71 and put an end to their Cinderella story. San Diego State Basketball
Since winning the Mountain West Conference Tournament the Aztecs have been one of the best teams in college basketball and it has showed now that they are playing in the championship game. On selection Sunday the Aztecs secured the fifth seed in the NCAA Tournament. When selected the fifth seed a lot of people picked the twelfth seed Charleston Cougars to upset them in the first round. The Aztecs proved the doubters wrong and knocked off the Cougars 63-57. Next, they cruised through the Furman Paladins 75-52. In the Sweet 16 no one gave them a shot against the number one team in the country in the Alabama Crimson Tide, but somehow, they survived and advanced winning 71-64. Finally, in the Elite 8 and Final Four they did the same thing and survived winning both of thoise games by one point defeating the Creighton Bluejays 57-56 and FAU 72-71. They have survived all throughout this tournament when everyone has doubted them look to see if they can do it one more time.
The Aztecs have gotten production from a lot of their players this season. Senior guard Matt Bradley has been leading San Diego State this year, as he leads the team in points. Do not forget about Lamont Butler, who is averaging 8.7 points and 3.3 assists (Which leads the team) a game this season. Look to see who will step up for the Aztecs because they will need someone too against this red-hot UConn team. Plus, look to see if San Diego State can find success against a great defensive team in the Huskies.

San Diego State vs. UConn Prediction and Prop Pick
I love this prop. This is my favorite prop that is out there right now. You have to take Jordan Hawkins over 2.5 3pt field goals. Hawkins is shooter and is never afraid to rip it from deep.In all five of the tournament games he has always made 3+ 3pt field goals. Yes, I know the Aztecs have a great defense and force teams to take bad shots. Hawkins takes anywhere between 7-10 three-pointers a game. That is a lot of chances for him to make at least three of those.
San Diego State vs. UConn Prop Pick: Jordan Hawkins over 2.5 3pt Field Goals (-111).
