Hofstra vs. Rutgers

Hosfstra vs Rugters

The Hofstra Pride will travel to the Jersey Mike’s Arena to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in the first round of the NIT. (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU). The Pride will look to bounce back after losing in the CAA Semifinal game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks 79-73. Even though they were so close to making it to the big dance they need to forget about it because they have a huge first round matchup against Rutgers. This team has been hot all season though especially as of late now winning four of their last five games. Meanwhile, the Scarlet Knights got knocked out of the Big Ten Tournament in the Quarterfinal game against Purdue Boilermakers. Look to see if they can bounce back and make a run in the tournament.

Hofstra vs. Rutgers Prediction

I like Hofstra in this game I think they keep it close in this game. I think Estrada has a huge game against the Rutgers guards. Even though the Scarlet Knights have the size advantage I think the Pride play small ball I can keep this game interesting. Rutgers wins in a close game 79-75 against Hofstra.

Hofstra vs. Rutgers: The Hofstra Pride cover the spread (+7.0).
