The Princeton Tigers and the Missouri Tigers will play against each other at the Golden 1 Center in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in the South Region (6:10 p.m. ET, TNT). The Tigers are trying to continue their cinderella story after beating the Arizona Wildcats 59-55. Princeton is playing some great basketball and it feels like they have found their stride. The Tigers have won their last five games. Meanwhile, the Tigers won their first round matchup against the Utah State Aggies 76-65. The Tigers will look to win the NCAA Tournament.

Princeton Basketball

With an 22-8 record on the season and an 10-4 record in conference play, the Tigers secured the second seed in the Ivy League Tournament. Princeton showed out in the tournament winning their first game against the Pennsylvania Quakers 77-70. Then they went on to beat the Yale Bulldogs 74-65. The Tigers locked in their spot in the tournament as the Ivy League champions with the 15th seed in the South Region. As the 15th seed they defeated Arizona in the first round.

The Tigers have gotten production from a lot of their players this season. They have three players that are averaging double-digit points this season. Senior forward Tosan Evbuomwan has been leading Princeton this year, as he leads the team in points and assists. Evbuomwan is averaging 15.0 points and 4.8 assists a game this season. They are also, led by their senior guard Ryan Langborg who is averaging 12.0 points a game this season.

In their win against Arizona in the Tournament, Evbuomwan finished the game with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. In the win, the team shot 40.6% from the floor and 16.0% from the three-point line.

Missouri Basketball

With an 25-9 record on the season and an 11-7 record in conference play, the Tigers finished fourth in the SEC Standings. In the tournament they were the fourth seed as they won their first game easily against the Tennessee Volunteers.. In the semifinal game they struggled against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Now, they are the seventh seed in the South Region of the tournament. Look to see if they can make a run in the tournament as they have Alabama and Baylor in their region.

Missouri has gotten a monster year from three of their players. The Tigers are led by senior guard Kobe Brown as he leads the team in points and rebounds. Brown is averaging 15.9 points and 6.3 rebounds a game this season. They are also led by senior guard D’Moi Hodge who is averaging 15.1 points a game this season.

 In their win against Utah State in the tournament, Hodge finished with 23 points as he shot 5-10 from three-point line. Brown also had a great game with 19 points and 8 rebounds. In the win, Missouri shot 50.9% from the floor and 40.0% from the three-point line.
