Indiana State vs. Eastern Kentucky 

The Indiana State Sycamores and the Eastern Kentucky Colonels will play against each other at the Ocean Center in the quarterfinal round of the Discount Tire CBI (12:00 p.m. ET). The Sycamores will look to keep their run alive as they defeated the SC Upstate Spartans 67-62 in the first round. Indiana State is playing some great basketball looked dangerous in that game, but they will have to come out to ready to play in this game against a very good Colonels team. Speaking of the Colonels they won in overtime against the Cleveland State Vikings 91-75 in the first round. Eastern Kentucky will look to make a deep run and win the CBI Tournament.

Indiana State Basketball

With a 23-12 record on the season and a 13-7 record in conference play, the Sycamores secured the fifth seed in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. Indiana State won their first two games in the tournament defeating the Evansville Purple Aces and the Belmont Bruins. In the semifinals the Sycamores lost to the Bradley Braves. Indiana State made it into the Discount Tire CBI. In the first round the Sycamores defeated the SC Upstate Spartans. 

The Sycamores have gotten production from a lot of their players this season. They have four players that are averaging double-digit points this season. Senior guard Courvoisier McCauley has been leading Indiana State this year, as he leads the team in points and rebounds. McCauley is averaging 15.9 points and 5.8 rebounds a game this season. Senior guard Cooper Neese is averaging 11.5 points a game this season. Do not forget about senior guard Cameron Henry who is averaging 10.9 points and 3.8 assists (Which leads the team) a game this season.

In their win against the Spartans, McCauley led the way finishing with a double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. He shot 5-12 from the three-point line. Henry also had a great game finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. In the win, the Sycamores shot 44.6% from the floor and 36.0% from the three-point line.

Eastern Kentucky Basketball

With a 21-13 record on the season and a 12-6 record in conference play, the Colonels finished third in the ASUN Standings. In the tournament they were the third seed as they won their first game easily against the Northern Alabama Lions. In the semifinal game though they struggled and lost against the Liberty Flames. In the first round of the CBI Tournament they defeated Cleveland State.

Eastern Kentucky has gotten a lot of production from their players this season. They are led by junior guard Devontae Blanton as he leads the team in points. Blanton is averaging 16.6 points a game this season. They are also led by junior forward Michael Moreno who is averaging 11.5 points a game this season.

 In their win against Cleveland State in the first round, senior forward Isaiah Cozart had a monster game finishing with a double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Blanton led the Colonels in scoring finishing with 22 points. In overtime Eastern Kentucky outscored Clevelad State 17-1.  In the win, Eastern Kentucky shot 49.3% from the floor and 36.8% from the three-point line.

I love the Sycamores in this game. I know they have been bad ATS in neutral site games and CBI games, but I just think they are a way more complete team then Eastern Kentucky. They have more weapons and scorers offensively that they can go to. I think the Sycamores cover the spread easily in this game. Indiana State defeats the Colonels 65-57 in this game.
