The TCU Horned Frogs will travel to the James H. Hilton Coliseum to take on the Iowa State Cyclones in a Big 12 matchup (9:00 p.m. ET, ESPNU). The Horned Frogs will look to snap their three-game losing streak in this game. TCU lost at home on Saturday to the Baylor Bears 72-68. The Horned Frogs have now lost four of their last five games. Meanwhile, the Cyclones will look to snap their two-game losing streak in this one. On Saturday, Iowa State lost to the Oklahoma State Cowboys 64-56. The Cyclones have also now lost four of their last five games.

With an 17-8 record on the season and an 6-6 record in conference play, the Horned Frogs are 2.5 games back from first place in the Big 12 standings. TCU has struggled on the road this season as they are 3-5 as the away team. The Horned Frogs have gotten production from their players this season. They have been on a losing streak because they have been without their star player Mike Miles Jr. Miles Jr. when healthy has been great for TCU averaging 18.1 a game this season. Without him senior guard Damion Baugh will have to step up and he has done just that. Baugh is averaging 13.2 points a game this season. He also leads the Horned Frogs in points and assists this season. Baugh has gotten help from senior forward Emanuel Miller who is averaging 12.9 points and 6.3 rebounds (Which leads team) a game this season.

In their loss against Baylor at home, the Horned Frogs struggled to get production from some of their players. Baugh did his best finishing the game with a double-double scoring 16 points and having 10 assists. It was not enough though as TCU could not stop the guard play of Baylor. In the loss, TCU struggled shooting the ball from deep as they shot 52.8% from the floor and 20.0% from the three-point line.

Offensively, the Horned Frogs are averaging 76.2 points a game on the season. Defensively, TCU has been solid only allowing teams to score an average of 66.8 points a game on the season. Look to see if the Horned Frogs can bounce back from their loss at home and pick up a huge victory on the road.

With an 16-8 record on the season and an 7-5 record in conference play, the Cyclones are 1.5 games back from first place in the Big 12 standings. Iowa State has been nearly perfect at home this year. They are a 12-1 when playing in the James H. Hilton Coliseum this season. Look to see if they can continue their dominance at home this year when the Horned Frogs come to visit them.

Iowa State has gotten production from their guards this season. All three of the Cyclones guards are averaging double-digit points this season. Senior guard Jaren Holmes has been great this year for the Cyclones as he leads the team in points averaging 13.5 a game. Also, senior guard Gabe Kalscheur has also had a great season averaging 12.7 point a game.

In their loss against Oklahoma State at home, the Cyclones struggled offensively. Only two players for Iowa State scored double digit points. Senior forward Aljaz Kunc led the Cyclones in scoring finishing with 13 points off the bench. Holmes struggled in this game shooting 2-8 from the floor and 2-6 from the three-point line. In the loss, Iowa State struggled shooting the ball as they shot 35.1% from the floor and 31.8% from the three-point line.

Offensively, the Cyclones are averaging 70.1 points a game on the season. Defensively, Iowa State has been great only allowing teams to score an average of 61.8 points a game on the season. Prediction

I love the Cyclones in this game covering the spread. I think Iowa State blows TCU out. The Horned Frogs are coming off a devastating loss at home against Baylor where they blew the lead late in the game. They are also depleted without two of their best players. I think after losing to Oklahoma State at home and struggling to score, that this game is a get right spot for Iowa State. They come out hot and ready to play as they take control of this game early and never look back.

Prediction: Iowa State covers the spread (-4.0).
