Sweet Sixteen kicks off in Vegas

Arkansas came into this season with high aspirations as they secured three five stars during recruiting. They kind of flopped though as they finished 22-13 on the season and just 8-10 in conference play. They have come out firing in the tournament though as they beat Illinois in round one and then shocked one seed Kansas in the round of 32. 

The Huskies came into the tournament playing great basketball. They finished the regular season as the number 10 team in the country and then lost in the semifinals to one seeded Marquette in the Big East tournament. They beat Iona and St Mary’s by 24 and 15 points and have not really been tested coming into this one.
I like Arkansas in this one. I think UConn has kind of coasted to the Sweet Sixteen here and they may be surprised by the talent on this Arkansas team. Arkansas just beat the defending champions and one seed in their region. If I had to pick I probably lean UConn to win this game but I don’t see this being more than a one possession game.
