Number one overall seed kicks off their run

Alabama has been the number one or two ranked team for much of the year and they are the number one overall seed coming into March Madness. They finished the season 29-5 overall and with a 16-2 record in the conference. They won the SEC tournament easily and have won three in a row coming into this one. 

The Islanders are on fire coming into this one. They have won five straight games as they won the southland tournament and then won the first four game to secure their spot. They finished the season 24-10 with a 14-4 conference record. 

Alabama is going to win this game the question is will they cover. Alabama is 19-14-1 ATS this season. The Islanders were also great this season though as they were 18-12 ATS. I think Alabama jumps out to a big lead really early and eventually benches their starters as they don’t want to risk injury for the rest of the tournament. Corpus Christie should keep this game within 24 points.
