Bakerfield has struggled mightily on the road this season as they are 3-10 as the away team. Look to see if they can fix their problems on the road when they travel to take on the Beach.

The Roadrunners have not really gotten production from their players this season. They only have two players averaging double-digit points on the season. He has gotten help sophomore guard Marvin McGhee III who is averaging 9.1 points a game this season. Junior guard Kaleb Higgins is averaging 13.1 points a game this season unfortunately he hasn’t played since Jan. 5th due to injury.

In their loss against Fullerton at home, senior forward Travis Henson led the way finishing with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. He shot 3-4 from the three-point line. McGhee III also had a great game finishing with 8 points and 8 rebounds. The Roadrunners just could not stop the guard play of the Titans. In the loss, Bakersfield shot 47.3% from the floor and 36.4% from the three-point line.

Offensively, the Roadrunners are averaging 61.7 points a game on the season. Defensively, Bakersfield has been allowing teams to score an average of 64.9 points a game on the season. Look to see if their defense can give the Beaches offense trouble in this game.

Bakersfield vs. Long Beach St. Prediction

I like the Beach in this game. I think they have more weapons offensively. Plus, Bakersfield has struggled recently and have been bad on the road this year. Also, the Beach are still playing for something trying to climb the Big West standings. I like Long Beach St. to roll through the Roadrunners in this game early. I think the Beach win this game 76-53.
