Hurricane Season is Over

Miami is currently running the NCAA March Madness tournament with both the Men’s and Women’s team making the Elite Eight Round. Miami’s Mens Team is coming off an impressive win against Houston. One of their best players leading the team is guard Isiaah Wong. The three leveled scorer is averaging 16.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 3.3 apg on the season. Wong continued the impressive year with 20 points against Houston. 

Texas is coming into the game after defeating Xavier. The 2 Seed is led by Senior Guard Marcus Carr. Carr is a good shooter averaging 36% from the three point line alongside 15.8 ppg and 4.1 apg. The Hurricanes also have to worry about big man Timme Allen who recently had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. 

I am expecting this game to be a battle of the stud guards. Both guards are the focal points of their teams offense and are extremely skilled at all levels. The Longhorns are not an extremely difficult opponent. Texas is elite on both sides of the ball. Just like last year, the Elite Eight is the finish line for the Miami Hurricanes. I really like this matchup for the Texas Longhorns. The books know about players such as Isaiah Wong and Marcus Carr and are leaning towards the under at 149.5.
