Big NIT Matchup

Vanderbilt went 21-14 this season. Some thought that they may have had a chance at getting into the tournament but they ultimately ended up as a two seed in the NIT. They have won six of their last seven games. 

Michigan finished the season 18-15 and was awarded an NIT spot. Their problem this season was away from home as they went just 3-7 compared to a 13-4 record at home. They lost in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament and are coming off of a first round NIT win over Toledo.

I like Vandy in this one. They are just the better and hotter team. Vandy almost made it to the SEC finals as they lost to Texas A&M in a close game in the semis. I also think their conference was much harder than Michigan’s this year. This Vandy team has won six of seven and there were arguments for them to get in to March Madness. They will take care of business in this one.
