Wright and Gang to Extend Series Lead
The Atlanta Braves are currently 79-50, which is the fourth best record in the MLB, and are in second place in the NL East. They are the #1 team in the Wild Card race in the National League and are 3 games back from the New York Mets who are in first for the NL East. Over their last 10 games, the Braves are 7-3 but are currently on a two-game losing streak after an away series against the St. Louis Cardinals. However, before the two-game losing streak, the Braves had won four straight and over their last 20 games, the Braves are 15-5. Pure Dominance.
The Colorado Rockies on the other hand, are currently 55-74, which is last place in the NL West. Over their last 10 games, they are 4-6. The Rockies are currently on a one-game winning streak after they were able to win their final game in a series against the Mets where they lost the three previous games.
These teams have matched up four times already this season and this game will begin a 3 game series played in Atlanta. The Braves currently lead this series 4-0 and will look to extend their lead. In this game, the Braves will have Kyle Wright take the mound for them and Ryan Feltner for the Rockies. On the season, Wright is 16-5 with an ERA of 2.99 and a WHIP of 1.13.
