The Yankees are on the verge of one of the worst meltdowns in MLB history. They are 82-54 on the season. They are five games ahead of the Rays and 6.5 games ahead of the Blue Jays. They are 4-6 over their last 10 games but have won three in a row.
The Twins are in an extremely tight race right now. They are 68-66 on the season and are now two games back of the Guardians in the AL Central. While the White Sox are also just half a game behind them. They have lost two straight.

This is a great pitching matchup. “Nasty” Nestor Cortes will be on the mound for the Yankees. He is 9-4 on the season with a 2.68 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP. Sonny Gray will be on the bump for the Twins. He is 7-4 with a 3.10 ERA. I love the under here.
