Marlins look to continue building to Wild Card berth

The Marlins are playing very well right now. They have won seven of their last ten games and are coming off of a win over the Mets. They are now 41-43 on the season. They may look to trade for a bat at the deadline as their pitching has been great. 

The Pirates are now 36-50 on the season. They are coming off of two straight impressive wins over the Brewers. The Pirates are a worse team than their record shows though as they have the second worst run differential in the MLB.

Take the Marlins here. They are playing good baseball and will be back at home here. I also think they have the pitching advantage as they have Trevor Rogers on the mound. Rogers has been better over his last three starts and he’s facing a guy who has gotten worse in Mitch Keller. Over his last three starts Keller has given up 12 runs over 15 innings of work. Take the better team at home here.
